The other day I received a call from one of my clients Tristan Garza.

Here’s how that conversation went:

“My YouTube is on fire. It’s the only place I focus on with my business. I never knew that YouTube was such a goldmine for small online entrepreneurs like me.”

You see, Tristan has the Capitalist Mindset.

Not because he uses YouTube, but because he is focused on one strategy that’s working for him and he continues to use it.

He isn’t short sighted jumping from platform to platform, hack to hack, trying to find the next best thing…

But Tristan’s response is the usual response I get from clients when they start implementing some of the strategies I teach.

I’ve been preaching the power of YouTube for nearly a decadebut many people ignore it because they feel it’s too hard to get started, it’s too much work and it takes too long to see results.

Most people want to take the easy way out.

Big mistake.

You see — they are too wrapped up in the “hypey” NEXT best thing that many online marketing “gurus” boast about.

One minute it’s Instagram stories, then Facebook Messenger Bots, then Funnel Hacking, then Webinars, then Crypto Currency, etc.

I’m sure you see it all over your Facebook Newsfeed.

People jumping around from niche to niche like a game of hop scotch.

Instead of sticking to one strategy and doing it well, they jump from social media to social media, online marketing tactic to tactic, trying to find the next hack to get rich quick.

I call this the “Apprentice Mindset.”

Sadly, it’s how many online marketers function — from the beginners to the advanced.

And the Apprentice Mindset is the reason why online marketers are an endangered species soon to become extinct if they don’t change.

I’ve seen so many come and go in the past 7 years since I’ve been in the digital marketing industry.

From guys that were making millions of dollars a year to ones that failed on their first go at it.

The majority of those failures can be attributed to having an Apprentice Mindset…

Thinking every new opportunity is their chance to strike it rich when their chances of actually doing so are very small.

It’s like playing the lottery every time the Powerball Jackpot hits over $100 million.

What are your chances of winning?

Imagine 175 million freshly minted one-dollar bills are being delivered to my house near Washington, D.C.

One of those dollar bills is specially marked as the “lucky dollar bill.” You get to pick a dollar bill and if you happen to pick the lucky dollar bill, you win all the dollar bills.

A straightforward mathematical calculation using the dimensions of a dollar bill reveals it will take two semi-trailers to deliver the 175,000,000 dollar bills to my house.

Once these arrive, they will have to be unloaded, of course, so you will have a fair chance to pick the lucky dollar bill. So, we will lay them out end to end.

How long will that line of dollar bills go?

If we start from my house, we’ll have enough dollar bills to go all the way south to Disney World in Orlando.

Then we’ll still have enough to go clear across the country to Disneyland!

But even then we are not out of dollar bills, so we can go north and make it all the way to Portland, Oregon.

Still, we have dollar bills, enough to make it all the way east to Portland, Maine.

And fortunately, we’ll have enough to make it back to my house near DC, completing the loop.

Do we have any dollars bills left? Yes!

We would still have enough dollar bills to go all the way around the loop a second time!

Now imagine that you walk, bike or drive for as long as you want around the double loop, and when you decide to stop, you stoop over and pick up one dollar bill.

Your chance of selecting the lucky dollar bill is one in 175 million, the same as your chance of winning the Powerball jackpot!

This is the same thing that happens in the online marketing space.

Some people get lucky and make a few million from one of the new get-rich-quick schemes…

But the majority don’t even make a single penny and waste nothing but massive amounts of time and money trying to get lucky.

Think of the online gurus promoting these get-rich-quick schemes like the media promoting the Powerball Jackpot, they know how to exploit the Apprentice Mindset.

They write copy specifically for them… copy that gives them just enough hope and then pulls the rope just as they are about to reach it.

“Another one bites the dust.”

Now let’s look at the opposite end of the spectrum.

The ones that experience success and survive year after year are the ones that approach business in a different way.

These are the people that laugh when they see the line for a lottery ticket wrapping around the entire gas station.

These smart online business owners focus on long term strategies and assets.

They don’t focus on the next get-rich-quick scheme but instead they focus on building a business.

They realize a business is a process and that it’s not easy.

These business owners have — what I call — the “Capitalist Mindset.”

They stick to a strategy and hit it hard.

Even when things get tough they don’t stop.

You know the saying, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

This is how they function.

They weather the storm and when there is a breakthrough they are the ones to reap the massive rewards.

The moment you shift your mindset from an Apprentice to a Capitalist one is when you’ll see massive results in your business.

There are people like Tristan with the Capitalist Mindset all around you.

From leaders at the top of Fortune 500 corporations, to bootstrapped lean startups operating out of a garage.

It starts with the right mindset (anyone can think like this), followed by the right execution.

I can’t make you change your mindset but I can show you the right execution.

As Tristan stated in our phone call, YouTube is the best place to start if you want a long term successful business.

Firstly, YouTube is the largest video platform in the world with over 1 billion monthly users.

But that’s not what separates it from every social platform out there.

What separates it is the fact that it’s the second largest search engine in the world only behind Google.

If YouTube’s user base were a country, it would be the third largest in the world.

Pretty crazy, right.

Oh, and since Google owns YouTube, video content hosted on YouTube ranks well on Google.

That means that people can come to YouTube and Google to search for a solution to a problem.

By manipulating your video content, headlines, and tags…

You can be the one that viewers find when they are searching for that solution, if you provide a viable solution to that problem.

When prospects find you in their moment of deepest despair and discover that you provide them with the solution they’ve been longing for, you give them hope.

Nothing is more powerful than hope…

They’ll be begging for you to take their money from that moment on.

Think about that.

It changes the dynamic of the whole game.

Step #1: Build Your Tribe Of Loyal Followers With Bracelets & Charms

Let me show you how explosive this strategy on YouTube can be when you follow it.

Step by step, I’ll show you how you can turn a small YouTube channel into over $420,000 a year… by working less than 3 hours a day!

Yes, this strategy requires a bit of work when getting started…

But once you get going it’s as easy as pressing the record button on your smartphone and it will work for years to come.

All right, here we go…

The first step is to build a loyal tribe of followers.

Because YouTube is a search engine like I mentioned earlier, it is one of the best platforms to use to grow your tribe.

That’s because you can use it to find the problems your market is searching for right now.

If you go to the YouTube Search Bar right now and type in a problem that you provide the solution to…

It will auto populate with all of the problems your ideal customers are actively searching.

Here’s an example…

Let’s say you’re a dog trainer, then you would search for what dog owners need help with.

I call this the Bracelet & Charm method.

The main problem keyword “How To Train Your Dog” is the Bracelet keyword and the sub problem keywords like “How To Train Your Dog TO SIT” are the Charm keywords.

Next, create short 5-7 minute videos a few times a week on those Charm keywords… giving a few tips or tricks to help your ideal customers solve these problems.

This allows you to build a sincere relationship with your prospects, become their hero before you ever make them any type of offer, and earn their trust.

They then start to assume that you have the answers to all of their problems.

You don’t need a large channel to do this…

In fact, I only have 363 subscribers on the channel that I use to generate over $35,000 dollars a month of passive income.

Step #2: Weed Out The Freebie Seekers

Next, you want to provide more help to the prospects that need it but at a premium price.

So here’s what you do…

In every YouTube video, offer your viewers the opportunity to get a free coaching call with you, in the hopes that they will purchase a product or service by the end of the call.

This may seem like a difficult task, but all it takes is proper product/service positioning…

More on this in a second, but before we even get to the call, you should make them fill out a Google Form to prequalify them.

The trick here is to have two types of questions…

TYPE 1: Buying Likelihood Questions

These questions will allow you to get rid of the freebie seekers and tire-kickers…

So that you can get on the phone with potential customers that are serious.

TYPE 2: Root Cause Questions

These questions allow you to learn more about the deepest problems serious prospects are having…

So that you can identify the root cause of your prospect’s problems before you ever even meet with them.

This allows you to be prepared to provide them with the best and most detailed solutions — when you do get on the phone with them — making them feel like that solution is tailored specifically to them.

Time is money, especially when you are getting on the phone with potential customers…

Which is why it is important to weed out those prospects who are really just looking for a freebie or quick fix.

Keeping these major aspects in mind will help you formulate the right questions to ask when creating your specific “Pre Qualifying” Google Form.

Now let’s get into the final but most powerful step of the process…

This is where we turn your viewers into thousands of dollars.

Step #3: Turn Those Viewers Into Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dollars

Once you get rid of the freebie seekers…

You then want to schedule a call with the prospects that you can tell are serious and aren’t going to waste your time.

This usually means doing more than just reading over the intake form entries but also emailing back and forth with them a few times to feel them out even more.

Once finally on the phone with the prospect, you should position your coaching service as the solution to their problems, whatever those problems may be.

That means your service is adaptable.

Don’t get too caught up on what your product or service is.

It could be a training course, event, personal training…

All your prospect cares about is their problem and the fastest way to the solution. The method that you use to provide that solution doesn’t matter.

My favorite method of delivery is for a training course with done-with-you coaching.

Here is a little piece of advice…

Don’t sell yourself short when determining your prices.

You will be amazed at how much people will pay to solve their problems.

Far too many times clients undercharge because they are afraid of overcharging and don’t value their own time and abilities.

Don’t assume the prospect won’t pay what you want them to.

Instead assume that the solution to their problem is priceless and that they will pay you whatever you ask for.

If the prospect doesn’t want to continue forward with the coaching, part ways, no hard feelings.

Never go chasing clients.

I’ve found that working with people that have to be convinced to work with you are the worst clients to have and aren’t worth any amount of time or money.

So don’t try to convince them to work with you.

Because working with you is a privilege.

Now of course there are some prospects that really want your help but just can’t afford that much money up front…

So, for them, I recommend creating a payment plan.

My “go-to” plan is three payments of $3,500.

This converts really well.

I’m not saying you have to charge the same amount as I do…

However, make sure to properly value your experience, knowledge, service, and time you are putting in because these factors will determine how much you should charge.

But imagine if you charged just half of what I do…

At just ONE client, you’d already be making more money than most people currently do in an entire month.

See how that works?

Listen the bottom line is this…

Even though anyone can do this, very few will.

They won’t be confident enough in their abilities, they will say it’s too much work and won’t record the content videos, and their main goal will be fast money instead of helping clients.

They will continue to have the Apprentice mindset.

But the ones with the Capitalist mindset — that DO decide to do this — will be able to reap the massive reward. The results are simply staggering.
