Architectural Specifications shape an essential a part of the Contract Documents; they describe – with specificity – factors of the paintings that the drawings can't. This specification has been cautiously crafted, revised and evolved over a few years in my studio. You can use this as the muse and place to begin for growing your personal custom set of specifications, tailor-made in your paintings and standards. Because my exercise is centered on residential arcitecture, this record has been designed for use for mild wooden creation and covers initiatives of residential scope + scale.

These are NOT 3-element specifications, they are define specifications, that means they are preferred in nature and describe systems, reference a few manufacturer's + products, materials + thicknesses. Some factors of the paintings are defined in preferred phrases the use of overall performance requirements. For example: how a shape is predicted to carry out at some stage in a blower door test. You'll need to check this record cautiously and tailor it in your needs, treating it as a template for crafting your personal personalised version.
