From mid-2004 to early 2006, Adi Da offered a series of discourses, in which he answered questions. As he had always done, he addressed each devotee personally, but was also instructing all beings, in all times and places.

Is there fulfillment in it? Is there satisfaction in it? Is there Happiness in it? Does it resolve itself? Is it an answer? Is this sexual thing right purpose of life? Does it have anything to do with Happiness, or Realization of Truth-whatever name you want to give to Ultimacy, or whatever references I make? Are bodies desirable, or are they repulsive?
He also explains the fundamental error in all forms of strategic sexual practice, which is the presumption of a separate self, or “point of view”. He points out that this presumption is the very same subjective error in all modes of the search-whether for bodily pleasure, scientific knowledge, or union with “God”.
The “self”-contraction, the “point of view”, the “point-of-view”-machine and what it presumes to be. Reality, the illusions of Reality created by “point of view”-these are the important matters to be understood. The “you” to which you refer as “I”, the ego-“I”, is a “point-of-view”-machine. It is subject to the illusions of the cosmic apparition, the illusions that “point of view” itself is subject to: space-time, mass, and so forth.
